Victoria Stunt is a journalist located in Toronto, Canada. She is a field producer with CBC News, where she produces national television, radio and digital stories for audiences across Canada. Before this, she lived in Medellin, Colombia for 6 years, where she worked as a freelance correspondent.  

Victoria has reported from Colombia, Canada, Guatemala, Peru and Mexico telling stories on human rights, women's issues and migration. She's produced files on Mexican workers being trafficked in Canada, reported on how debt affects Guatemalan migrants fleeing to the U.S., and she's looked into the barriers Colombians face to access safe abortion.

 

Her radio and print work has appeared in outlets such as BBC World Service, BBC News, Deutsche Welle Radio, Quartz, Vice News, The Economist, CBC Radio, CBC News, The Christian Science Monitor, BBC Travel and among others. She's also provided live breaking radio and television commentary for media in Europe, Canada and Australia.
